Enjoy twice-daily parades, Dutch dancing and performances, craft market, tractor displays, delicious food, heritage museums, and of course… Tulips! Pella plants approximately 200,000 tulips every year, and their colorful blooms are a sight to behold.

Thousands of runners and walkers participate in this annual 5K the day before Tulip Time! Options for kids’ race, walking and running. Race route weaves through historic and scenic areas. Proceeds benefit Crossroads of Pella, a local nonprofit.

Every Thursday evening in June and July, downtown Pella is transformed into a carnival featuring games, performances, activities and food vendors. Activities begin at 6pm, and conclude with a City Band performance at 8 pm. Each night has a different theme, and activities are family-friendly (and mostly free!)
