Amsterdam School
Officially called the East Amsterdam School Museum, this nearly 150-year-old building is filled with school memorabilia from days gone by. Since 1972 the Pella Historical Society has restored the building to a hands-on working museum where children and adults may experience a 1930s era school day. By Appointment Only.

Experience Pella from a new perspective aboard the Pella Trolley. This fully narrated, round-trip tour offers visitors an engaging introduction to the community's history, architecture, Dutch heritage, and notable landmarks, all from the comfort of a vintage-style trolley.

Along the way, guests will travel through historic neighborhoods and past some of Pella's most recognizable sites, gaining a deeper appreciation for the stories that have shaped our community.
