Step back in time to early Pella! Log cabin, general store, Dutch costume displays, and much more. Tour the Vermeer Windmill, one of the tallest working windmills in North America. The Wyatt Earp Experience explores the life of the famous western lawman who grew up in Pella.

Amsterdam School
Officially called the East Amsterdam School Museum, this nearly 150-year-old building is filled with school memorabilia from days gone by. Since 1972 the Pella Historical Society has restored the building to a hands-on working museum where children and adults may experience a 1930s era school day. By Appointment Only.

Pella Trolley
Experience Pella from a new perspective aboard the Pella Trolley. This fully narrated, round-trip tour offers visitors an engaging introduction to the community's history, architecture, Dutch heritage, and notable landmarks, all from the comfort of a vintage-style trolley.

A knowledgeable guide will share stories of Pella's founding in 1847, the people who shaped the community, and the traditions that continue to make Pella a unique destination. Along the way, guests will travel through historic neighborhoods and past some of Pella's most recognizable sites, gaining a deeper appreciation for the stories that have shaped our community.
